Razorpay POS Unveils 'Q-Zap' for Swift Checkouts, Queue-Free Experience
Razorpay POS, the offline payments division of the prominent fintech firm, introduced 'Q-Zap'. This payment innovation, tailored for retailers, aims to revolutionize the checkout process by ensuring swifter transactions and eradicating queues.
With 'Q-Zap,' Razorpay endeavors to redefine the in-store customer journey. It foresees a substantial reduction in billing time by 40%, thereby assisting retailers in slashing annual operating expenses by up to 20%.
Rahul Kothari, Chief Operating Officer at Razorpay, underscored the objective of Q-Zap, emphasizing its dual purpose of eliminating cumbersome checkout queues for customers and liberating in-store staff to provide personalized assistance.
The solution facilitates payment collection beyond traditional billing counters, leveraging self-checkout kiosks or handheld Point of Sale (POS) devices integrated with Q-Zap, empowering customers to finalize transactions from any location within the store, obviating the necessity of enduring lengthy lines.
Moreover, Q-Zap promises seamless Ready Plug-and-Play integration with over 120 billing partners, expediting solution implementation to just four days, a notable improvement compared to the industry norm of four weeks.
Furthermore, the integration of Razorpay POS hardware and software into Q-Zap ensures compatibility with all payment methods, including UPI, credit cards, and debit cards, across major networks such as Visa and Mastercard, facilitating expedited checkout experiences for customers.
